Ryan Austin became a self-starting entrepreneur from a young age. Instead of working for someone else during the summer months as a teen, he created his own jobs by founding various start-ups.

Prior to founding In.Acuity, Ryan Austin served as Senior Vice President for World Trade Group, an organization that offers live events, online products and training courses. He was responsible for the start-up, development, design and execution of the Training Division in the Americas, which demonstrated outstanding success. In 2012, GCP acquired World Trade Group in a £27.5m buyout.

After spending two years at York University and one year at The University of Western Ontario, Ryan left University to pursue his dreams. Recently, Ryan graduated from The Next Founders program which provided 50-65 hours of masters-level education taught by award winning faculty from schools including Harvard Business School, MIT, Rotman and Ivey.

A great believer that if you’re lucky enough to be successful, you have a responsibility to give back, Ryan’s interest lies in helping others – his main driving force for succeeding in business. He has been fortunate enough to have great mentors guiding him throughout his career and intends to pay it forward by helping others.

Despite his busy schedule, Ryan is always on the lookout for great opportunities as an investor. When he does have time to relax, he enjoys staying active outdoors and spending time with his family, friends and dog.

Specialties: Ryan likes to challenge himself in new fields where he can add value with his proven business judgment, strong strategic capabilities, leadership and management experience. His expertise includes building inside sales organizations, creating cultures that are a competitive advantage, recruiting talent, strategic alliances, positioning, lead generation, product management, and learning organizations.
